This page highlights a couple of wonderful Library services however, many employees are not aware or familiar with the services or how to use them.

Did you know that...

  • The Library's Records Center provides secure long-term storage for inactive business and academic records that are governed by retention guidelines.
  • The Records Center will also store your removable media such as drives, and CD/DVDs that contain business and academic records that are governed by retention guidelines.
  • You can store inactive materials such as personnel records, P-card statements, and financial records governed by retention guidelines.
  • The Records Center will pickup and delivery your records to your office.

Transferring Records Using the Records Management Service - The Georgia Tech Records Center provides secure long-term storage for campus business and academic records whose retention is required to meet legal and/or fiscal guidelines. Storage and retrieval services are free of charge to participating campus departments. Visit the above link for instructions about how to transfer records to the Records Center.

Donating Materials Using the Archives and Records Management Service - The Georgia Tech Archives collects and preserves the history of the campus, faculty, alumni, and students for future generations. The Archives collects both official university departmental or organization records and personal or family manuscript papers. Visit the above link for a list of items appropriate for donation to the Archives.
