Transferring Records Using the Records Management Service - The Georgia Tech Records Center provides secure long-term storage for campus business and academic records whose retention is required to meet legal and/or fiscal guidelines. Storage and retrieval services are free of charge to participating campus departments. Visit the above link for instructions about how to transfer records to the Records Center. Donating Materials Using the Archives and Records Management Service - The Georgia Tech Archives collects and preserves the history of the campus, faculty, alumni, and students for future generations. The Archives collects both official university departmental or organization records and personal or family manuscript papers. Visit the above link for a list of items appropriate for donation to the Archives. The Archives and Records Management Decision Tree can assist in determining how to handle your records for transfer or archiving.
