Start Saving Your Boxes To Use This Service!

During the Data Cleanup Campaign the Solid Waste Management & Recycling Department will be providing secure destroy services for sensitive and confidential documents. When cleaning your office, storage closet and other locations in your building where these materials may be stored, box them up and have them destroyed.

Employees, departments, or buildings with 10 or more boxes, must complete the on-line form http://www.recycle.gatech.edu/local_events.php (select bullet 4). Once the form is received by Recycling, someone from their office will contact you to schedule a pickup.

Employees, department, or buildings with less than 10 boxes, can drop them off to the Solid Waste Management and Recycling Department, located at 947 Atlantic Drive.

Whether the boxes are picked up or dropped off, each box must be clearly labeled Sensitive or Confidential. There is no special box requirement for using this service.
